A Day in the life...

So what's the average day like at Ulitmate Challenge? Come with us now on an exciting adventure inside the typical day at everyone's favorite summer camp. Our host Ralph will let you go behind the scenes as he leads you through his day at camp...

7:00am : Morning Show and Wake Up
To get your day off on the right foot we have a great a morning show to rouse you from your slumber. You'll love our DJ's and their array of music, daily trivia for prizes, updates for the day ahead, and other assorted random nonsense.

7:45am - 8:00am : Mock Aerobics
You know that crusty stuff that forms in the corner of you eye? Well, even though it looks aesthetically pleasing, it's gotta be removed before you can start the day. So, in an effort to clean the cobwebs from your craw, NRTAAMRSPSP Certified Aerobics Instructors Karen and Jeff will lead you through a few minutes of light stretching and teaching you some ridiculous dances.

8:00am - 8:45am : Breakfast
Food is awesome at Ultimate Challenge Camp and breakfast is no exception. If you're not feeling the warm food of the day there's always a good choice of cerals.

8:45am - 10:00am : Bible Study
Christina Anderson leads our daily bible study and does a wonderful job of making it fun. She's a teacher in real life and does a great job making sense of the Bible. Don't believe me? Come and find out..
10:15am - 11:45am : Planned Rec
Planned Rec is a bit like gym class, but the games played are a bit more Challenging. Somedays we play volleyball, and other days we have peanut butter and baked-beans wars. Planned rec gets high rankings every year, and it's a great way to bond with your huddle group and have a lot of fun.
Noon - 12:45 : Lunch
Lunch is a lot like breakfast, only you eat lunch foods.

12:45 - 1:45 : FLI Time
FLI (Focus Learn Interact) time is for small goup seminars where you get to spend a few minutes tackling topics and issues that are important to teens today. Past topics have included dating, relationships, the holy spirit, illegal substances, and christian music.

1:45 - 2:30 : FOYB
Yes, FOYB. FOYB is Latin for "Feet On Your Bed." This is a little break time when all campers return to their room for a little quiet time. Some spend the time napping...others read their Bibles or just spend some time talking with their roommates.

2:30 - 5:30 : Freetime
Freetime is a time when you can do just about anything you'd like. (Skydiving is not being offered this year because we don't have a plane) However, you can go swimming in the lake, tubing, water-skiing, play volleyball, ultimate frisbee, go hiking, horseback riding, lay out and get a tan, take a long 3 hour nap, arts and crafts...or just about anything else you can imagine. From time to time we offer special outings such as Archery practice or canoe trips.

5:30 - 6:15 : Dinner
Din-Din is served. All our meals are served buffet style. Make sure to practice up for the jell-o slirping contest.

7:00 - 9:00 : Worship Service
The Worship service is led by our lead speaker Pete. Each night Pete will lead us through another exciting chapter based on our Camp Theme, "Light the Fire." Worship service will occasionally end with an alter call where you may come up to the alter for a quiet moment alone in prayer and asking God to come into your heart.

9:00 - 10:30 : Canteen, Huddle Time, and Campfire
Lake Koronis offers a canteen where they sell popcorn, candy, and ice cream for your snacking pleasure. Shortly after canteen is offered, we have a campfire each night with a hearty dose of singing and ourtright jubilation.

10:30 - 11:00 : Devotions
Small group time to unwind, discuss the day, and reflect back on how you saw God working throughout the day.

11:00 : Lights Out
Well, after a day packed to the brim, you'll likely be out before you hit the pillow. If you have trouble sleeping, Counselor Jason may or may not come in, tuck you in, and sing you a good-night lullaby.
